Why Florida Keys.
The Keys are a 100-mile string of islands with shallow flats on one side and the Gulf Stream on the other. Islamorada calls itself the sport fishing capital of the world, Key West has the offshore fleet, and Marathon sits in the middle with access to both. Flights are easy, the food is great, and boats range from skiffs for two to big center consoles for the whole group.
